Supported Blender versions (deprecated node pack):

    • v1.0 - v1.3 -> Blender 3.6+
    • v1.4 -> Blender 4.0+

Addon:

    • v1.0.0+ -> Blender 4.3+

Important:
The simulation engine (add-on v4.2+) now requires a CPU with AVX2 support. Support for Intel-based Macs has been discontinued.

License:
Pro Particles uses a hybrid license model to comply with Blender’s GPL while protecting its core technology:

• The Python UI scripts and integration code are licensed under GPLv3+.
• The simulation engine is a precompiled, proprietary executable. Redistribution is prohibited.
• The included .blend asset file (nodes.blend) is provided under a Royalty-Free License for your personal and commercial projects. Redistribution of the file itself is not permitted.

The engine runs as an external process and communicates with the GPL Python add-on over a documented IPC interface (JSON + shared memory). This keeps the components cleanly separated and GPL-compliant.
